Holy Busy Summer!

Well looks like I have an extra minute to update everyone on our tribe although it seems that every time I sit down at my computer I go blank...  First off the days are longer and the kids are already bored so next month the kids are doing some fun summer classes along with kids camp and swim lessons.  That'll teach them to tell me they're bored.  Our summer has been really busy we got to spend some time with Chandra and Dalton and miss having them here.  We have been swimming at the rec center going to Lagoon and boating quite a bit.  Everyone has a great tan.  Ayden finally got his cast off and his arm is still very sore so I guess the next step to healing him is an MRI and possibly surgery to repair the torn cartilage.  The kids and I along with our friends from across the street got to go to the Utah Down Syndrome Foundation summer luau.  It was a lot of fun and I feel very fortunate that I got the opportunity to meet some great new people and learn more about the down syndrome community.  Everyone was very welcoming and friendly.  Miss Jaycee had a birthday and is now four years old.  She is the little momma in the family always making sure everyone is doing what they need to be doing and yelling at those who aren't.  JR is busy at work as usual but has found the time to create a perfect park for the kids.  The yard is complete!!! Well minus the playground that is in transit.  He also makes sure to spend every Sunday with the family.  My sweet little leprechaun has had a busy time too.  He has been to the audiologist four times had early intervention every other week and been to the ear nose and throat doc.  The big one for Dawson this month is tubes in his ears.  He had his surgery this morning and for the most part did really well.  He did not like that he had to fast and thought it to be so bad he even broke down and sucked on a pacifier which he NEVER does.  He also had a little upset tummy when he woke up but after some nausea meds was right back to nursing like a champion.  Thats about it as far as what has been going on.  I just want to thank everyone that has helped me with everything.  My mom for watching the baby while we take the other kids out and helping me keep up on laundry Michelle for helping with the kids on the boat and when we need someone to watch them for hospital stays Tauna for doing well anything I need really and everyone else for all that you do for our family we really do appreciate everything even if I forget to tell you.

On a side note I told myself I wanted to write stuff down that the kids said so I wouldn't forget so if you see some random quotes thats what it is.  Please comment on a post if you hear one of my kids say something you think I will want to remember thank you.

Jaycee: Uh yeah...he doesn't have any teeth yet...

Great Weekend!!!

Our large little family had a great weekend.  Saturday the kids and I went to Lagoon with our favorite neighbor's and friends the Sessions.  We got season passes again this year so we will probably be spending a lot of time there this summer it will have to be during the week though because Saturday was crazy busy!  Sunday JR and I took the kids Aunt Michelle Brandon and his friend to the lake boating.  I don't think I have seen the big boys have that much fun in a long time.  The little kids love hanging out on the beach and playing in the sand with their new sand toys Daddy bought them.  I am not sure how to post pics on here yet so I am posting a link to my Facebook album.  I hope it works for you I tried it and it worked for me just copy and paste it I don't know how to make it so you just click it.  I love my family!!!
